The station is the brainchild of commercial radio veteran Mike Osborne, who spent over 40 years at some of the UK’s most popular stations, including Capital Radio, Heart Radio, and Smooth. Over the years, Mike has worked alongside some of the industry’s biggest names—among them the legendary Kenny Everett, Chris Tarrant, Stephen Mulhern, and Roman Kemp.
When the time came to combine his two greatest passions—radio and caravanning—Caravan Radio was born: a station built by and for our community. All of our content and adverts are dedicated to the caravan and motorhome industry, keeping everything, you hear relevant to your lifestyle and travels.
Mike isn’t just the founder—his love for broadcasting means he’s deeply involved in shaping Caravan Radio’s programming. During the summer you often spot us out and about at events across the country.
